Pastor Ben Godfrey
Pastor Ben Godfrey was installed as Pastor of Nurture on December 29, 2013. Pastor Ben grew up in the Codorus congregation, but after graduating from Dallastown High School, he moved with his family to New Paris, Indiana for seven years. While in Indiana, he graduated from Goshen College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (2003). In 2006, Pastor Ben moved back to York. He began attending Lancaster Bible College to achieve a Master’s degree. God led him back to Codorus in the fall of 2007, volunteering with the youth program. He received his Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from LBC in 2008. While working as a butcher at Godfrey Bros. Meats, Ben was awaiting a full-time call into ministry. It just so happened that God opened the doors for that position to be at his home church, here at Codorus. Ben is excited to see how God will use him in this calling to spread the good news of Jesus Christ throughout this community, and beyond.
Olivia Bahn - Family Ministry Director
Olivia Bahn joined the Codorus COB staff in March of 2016 after being a regular attender for 2 years. Olivia and her husband, Alex Bahn, who grew up in Codorus COB, have been married since August of 2015 and are expecting their first child in January. After graduating from Lancaster Bible College in May of 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Children and Family Ministry, Olivia and Alex felt strongly called to the Codorus Congregation. With this calling on her heart, Olivia was thrilled when Codorus decided to pursue and staff a Family Ministry Director in early 2016. God has given her the vision to empower and “equip” parents in their role as the spiritual leaders of their children (inspired by Ephesians 4:11-12). Olivia is looking forward to how God will continue to work in the hearts of families to make committed followers of Him.
